Hello, this is me before i had a beard.<\/p>\n
I was born in Canberra and grew up around there and on a farm over the border in Burra, New South Wales. When school finished i went off travelling through India and Europe and ended up living in London for quite a few years working in theatres and idling and writing songs and getting married. Then i came back here back to the farm and brought up a family and that’s where i still am. I have kept this blog going for about 20+ years now.<\/p>\n
I started this site mainly as a place to practice my html\/php and publish my poems and write essays but I also write and record songs now, as “Muletonic<\/a>” … for more about all that, head over to my music bio and discography<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n I have self- published several poem collections over the years including three through lulu: Poison Bomb<\/a> (2011), Curlicues<\/a> (2015, which is a collection of poems from earlier unpublished pamphlets and notebooks), and Bleeding Nose Pose<\/a> (2017 but revised in 2021).\u00a0 My more recent poems online are mostly found on my other blog, Wardrobe in the Cupboard<\/a>, the older ones are here in the poem cupboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n It was a long time ago when I first created this website ‘forkword’, and I can’t really agree with everything I have thought up and written here over the years.
